In Russia, a new application Uber Russia has been launched, which was developed taking into account the wishes of users and market features. From today you can download it in the AppStore and GooglePlay. Investments in UberRussia, including discounts for users, motivational programs for drivers and advertising, will exceed 2 billion rubles the next year, reports the press service of the company.

The new application uses vector maps instead of raster ones, so it works better in the conditions of slow mobile Internet, and also takes up three times less space on the device. It has features that are not in the previous version. Now you can write a comment to the order; add intermediate addresses; pay for your order using ApplePay and GooglePay; leave the driver a tip. In addition, Uber Russia can recommend alternative landing points, which can be reached on foot in a couple of minutes in order to leave faster and cheaper. Other features will be available in the coming months.

UberRussia works in 50 cities of the country: in 16, where Uber was previously available, and in 34 new ones. It is now possible to call the car through Uber Russia in Barnaul, Belgorod, Blagoveshchensk, Vladivostok, Vladimir, Volgograd, Izhevsk, Kaliningrad, Kursk, Lipetsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Orenburg, Penza, Ryazan, Saratov, Smolensk, Stavropol, Surgut, Tegran, Ryazan, Sarov, Teren Tyumen, Ulyanovsk, Khabarovsk, Novy Urengoy, Kirov, Makhachkala, Kaluga, Saransk, Bryansk, Tver, Murmansk, Kemerovo and Cheboksary, and not only in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod (including Dzerzhinsk, Kstovo and Bor), Novosibirsk, Omsk, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Samara (Togliatti), Sochi, Ufa, Chelyabinsk. Soon this list will replenish with new cities.
