Toyota RAV4 regained the title of the leader in the market of the Far East in November

According to the analytic agency AUTOSTAT, in November of 2018 the market volume of new passenger cars in the Far Eastern Federal District was 1.7 units, which is 1.5 times higher than a result a year ago. At the same time the market leader was changed again.

So, in the last month of autumn, it became the Toyota RAV4 crossover, which was bought by 107 residents of the Far East (-6%). Recall that this year, the model took a leading position in February, as well as from July to September.

On the second place, with a minimum margin from the leader, another representative of Toyota is located - the Land Cruiser Prado SUV (106 units), the indicator of which grew by 77%. But this time the third place belongs to the leader of October - the crossover Hyundai Creta (97 units; + 98%). Two domestic SUVs close the TOP-five - the UAZ “Patriot” (87 units; + 40%) and LADA 4x4 (83 units; + 89%).

In addition to them, the TOP-10 of the local market by the results of November of 2018 included: Nissan Terrano (73 units; + 97%), Toyota Land Cruiser (64 units; -6%), Toyota Camry (55 units; the growth in 2, 9 times), KIA Rio (53 units; the growth in 4.4 times), Lexus RX (50 units; + 22%).

According to the experts of the analytic agency AUTOSTAT, the market of new passenger cars in the DFO continues to show the high growth rates against the background of the state programs “First Car” and “Family Car”, which were stopped in the spring in the rest part of the Russian Federation. At the same time, buyers in the Far Eastern Federal District receive a 25% discount on the purchase of a new Russian-made car - instead of the previous 10% for residents of other districts of the country.
