LADA has improved its position in the global automotive brand sales ranking

For the first 9 months of 2018, almost 286 thousand new LADA cars were sold worldwide, which is more by 21.1% than in the same period of the last year. According to the experts of the analytic agency AUTOSTAT, it allowed the Russian brand to improve its position in the world ranking.

Now LADA occupies the 48th place, although it was the 51st a year ago. In the list of 50 car brands in terms of world sales, published by the focus2move portal, the domestic brand in January-September is ahead of the Chinese BAIC (257.8 thousand units; -29.3%) and the British MINI (266.5 thousand units; -0.9%).

It should be noted that LADA in this rating is among the leaders in sales growth (+ 21.1%). This indicator is higher only for the Chinese brand Geely (+ 24.3%) and the Japanese Mitsubishi (+ 22.4%).
