Volvo increased sales by 60% in Russia in October

Russian dealers of Volvo sold 728 cars in October, which is more by 59.6% than a year ago. According to the results of ten months of 2018, Volvo sales were 5946 cars - more by 10.5% than during the same period of the last year.

According to the Volvo Car Russia press service, the full-size XC90 crossover became the bestseller of the brand in the Russian market - 224 such cars were sold in the last month (+ 17.3%). The second result in terms of sales showed a new compact crossover XC40, which was chosen by 193 customers. The TOP- three of leaders of Volvo is closed by the second-generation crossover XC60, sold out in the amount of 179 units.

“The impressive figure of Volvo sales growth in October is primarily due to the high interest in the newest XC60 and XC40 crossovers,” comments Alexey Tarasov, Volvo Car Russia sales director. “The demand for new products is high all over the world, and Russia is not an exception in this sense, so we still have to compete for quotas with other Volvo markets.”
