Russian market of new LCVs grew by 5% in September

According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", the volume of the Russian market of new light commercial vehicles (LCV) in September of 2018 was 8.6 thousand units, which is more by 5.3% than the result a year ago.

The leader of the LCV market is traditionally the domestic brand GAZ, the share of which was over 40% of the total sales in the last month. In quantitative terms, it is 3.7 thousand sold units, which is less by 3.2% than a year ago. In the second place there is the domestic UAZ, sales of which fell by 3.5% and they were 1.2 thousand units. American Ford rose to the third position in the ranking with a score of 1,000 cars (+ 47.3%). In its turn, the Russian LADA with an indicator of 837 cars (+ 53.3%) dropped to the fourth place. The TOP-five of the market leaders is closed by the German Mercedes-Benz (549 units; -7.9%).

According to the experts of the analytic agency AUTOSTAT, by the results of 9 months of this year, the volume of the market of new LCVs in our country reached 79.5 thousand units, by showing an increase of 5.8%.
