Toyota increased sales by 23% in Russia in August

Russian dealers of Toyota sold 9,748 cars in August, which is more by 23% than in the previous year. As a result, Toyota occupied the fifth place in sales among all automakers in Russia, and the market share of the brand was 6.6% versus 6.0% a year before, according to AEB data. According to the results of eight months of 2018, Toyota sales grew by 11% up to 66,579 vehicles in the Russian market.

Toyota's best-seller was RAV4 crossover in August, which found 3,019 customers, which is more by 9% than the last year. In the second place in terms of sales among Toyota models there is the Camry business sedan, sales of which grew by 5% up to 2,498. Recall, since April, Russian dealers of Toyota have begun sales of a new generation of Camry.
