Russia has kept the 12th place in the ranking of world automotive markets


12 thousand luxury cars registered in Russia


According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", there are 12,000 luxury cars in the Russian Federation as of July 1st, 2018.

About a third (32.6%) of this amount falls on the brand Bentley, which in quantitative terms is 3.9 thousand units. In second place there is Mercedes-Maybach with an indicator of 2.9 thousand units, which is equivalent to a share of 24%. Then Maserati follows (1.4 thousand units), which owns about 12% of the parc Luxury. In addition, a mark of a thousand registered cars was overcome by Rolls-Royce (1.2 thousand units), which corresponds to the every tenth luxury car.

Among those brands that are officially represented in the Russian market, it is worth noting Ferrari (748 units), Aston Martin (431 units) and Lamborghini (290 units). In addition to them, the parc also includes such brands as Buick, MG, Lotus, Bugatti, the figures of which are also less than a thousand units.

Over a half (54.5%) of all registered luxury cars in Russia are in Moscow (6.5 thousand units). Identical to each other indicators are in St. Petersburg and in the Moscow region (by 1,100 units in each subject of the Russian Federation). Among non-capital regions, there are most of all luxury cars in the Krasnodar Territory (348 units).

Then Yekaterinburg (165 units) and Rostov (153 units) regions follow. In each of the rest regions, less than 1% of the all-Russian parc of luxury cars is registered, but at the same time in the Samara region, Tatarstan, Stavropol Krai, Chechnya and Dagestan, their number exceeds 100.
