Nissan X-Trail and Qashqai entered the TOP-ten of the best-selling SUVs in August

The compact crossover Hyundai Creta remained the bestseller in the SUV segment in the Russian market in August. In the last month, the sales of this model grew by 32% up to 5,274 vehicles.

The second place was occupied by an off-road vehicle Renault Duster, which was chosen by 3,537 buyers (+ 1%). The third place is occupied by the crossover Toyota RAV4 with the indicator of 3019 sold vehicles (+ 9%). LADA 4x4 is the next, which was sold in amount of 2,807 units (+ 22%). The TOP-five of the most popular SUVs in Russia is closed this time by KIA Sportage, sales of which grew by 90% and they were 2,710 vehicles.

The TOP-10 of bestsellers of the SUV segment by the results of August also included Renault Kaptur (2627 units, -8%), Volkswagen Tiguan (2364 units, + 1%), Chevrolet Niva (2310 units, -16%), Nissan X -Trail (2124 units, + 42%) and Nissan Qashqai (2110 units, + 23%).

It should be noted that according to the results of eight months of 2018 the leader among SUV models is Hyundai Creta with 43,807 sold vehicles (+ 40%). Renault Duster is the next, which was sold in amount of 27,863 units (+ 5%) and KIA Sportage, which was sold in amount of 22,161 vehicles (+ 35%).
