    In October of this year, sales of cars and LCV in Russia, according to the AEB, amounted to 160,425 units. This result is more by 8.2% than a year ago. In total, for 10 months, sales of cars in our country were 1 million 457.9 thousand units, which is more by 14.1% than in January - October of the last year.



TOP-10 models of SUV aftermarket in Russia


According to AUTOSTAT analytic agency, 548,000 used crossovers and SUVs were sold in Russia in January - June 2018, that is 7% more than a year ago.

The LADA 4x4 is a traditional leader of the SUV aftermarket with 44,100 vehicles sold during the period under review, which is 5% less than in the first half of 2017. The Chevrolet Niva is on the second place with 33,600 vehicles (+ 5%). The third place of the rating belongs to the Toyota RAV4 crossover with 19,300 vehicles resold (+ 8%).

Then come two Nissan models – the X-Trail (15,900 vehicles, + 13%) and the Qashqai (15,800 vehicles, + 15%). The TOP-10 of the Russian SUV aftermarket in January-June 2018 also includes the Renault Duster (13,400 vehicles, + 28%), the Honda CR-V (13,200 vehicles; -1%), the Mitsubishi Outlander (13,100 vehicles, + 14%), the Volkswagen Tiguan (10,500 vehicles, + 30%) and the KIA Sportage (10,500 vehicles, +21 %).
