In Russia there are more than 100 thousand coupes and convertibles

According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", as of January 1st, 2018 there are 101.2 thousand coupes and convertibles in Russia. It is 0.24% of the total Russian parc of cars.

The most popular car in this segment is the Toyota Celica coupe, which is owned by 10.8 thousand Russians. Thus, this model accounts for 11% of all coupes and cabriolets in the country. The second place of this rating is occupied by Mercedes E-Class coupe with an indicator of 9.2 thousand units. The third place in the rating of popularity is occupied by another Mercedes coupe - CLK-Class. This model is owned by 5,2 thousand Russians. Also the TOP-five of the most popular coupes and convertibles includes Honda Prelude (5 thousand units) and BMW 6-Series (4,6 thousand units).

Most of all coupes and convertibles are registered in Moscow, the share of which was 26% of the total that is 26.5 thousand units. At the second place there is St. Petersburg, in which it was registered 8,500 coupes and cabriolets. Moscow region with 8.2 thousand cars occupies the third place of the rating. Then non-capital Primorsky (6,3 thousand units) and Krasnodar (5 thousand units) territories follow that close the TOP-five.
