After the acquisition of Opel in 2017, the PSA Group began a systematic implementation of a new strategy aimed at the comprehensive development of the brand in the European and world markets. The new stage of development of the Opel brand in Ukraine corresponds to the strategic plan "PACE!", which will restore the financial basis of the brand, improve competitiveness indicators and accelerate the growth of the company Opel.

As the press service of the PSA Group reports, Ukraine will be the first market in Eastern Europe, where Opel will operate under the PSA wing, relying on new standards. Since January 1st, 2019, the centralized operational management of sales and service of Opel cars in Ukraine will be transferred to the official importer of the PSA Group in Ukraine – “Peugeot Citroen Ukraine” Ltd.

As it was noted, the attraction of new partners, the consistent change and expansion of the geography of the dealer network, the launch of new high-tech models, the profitable financial proposals for the purchase of cars and the improvement in the quality and availability of after-sales services in accordance with the global brand strategy will help to strengthen Opel's position in Eastern Europe.

"The automotive market of Ukraine keeps a high potential for further growth, which makes it a good platform for a new stage of development of the Opel brand.
