The average age of passenger cars in Moscow and St. Petersburg exceeds 10 years

This conclusion was reached by the experts of analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" in the study of the parc of passenger cars (PC) in the country. It turned out that in Moscow the average age of the PC parc as of January 1st, 2018 was 10.3 years. In St. Petersburg, this indicator is slightly higher - 10.7 years. By the way, it is the same in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomus Region and Perm Region.

It should be noted that in the regional ranking the capital cities occupy the second and third positions, and the leader here is Tatarstan (9.7 years). This is the only subject of the Russian Federation, in which the average age of the parc of PC is still less than 10 years. But the oldest parc in the country is in the regions of the Far East - in some of them it is at least 20 years.
