KAMAZ in the first quarter increased sales by 8% in Russia

Sales of KAMAZ vehicles in Russia for the first quarter of 2018 grew by 7.8% compared to the same period of the last year and they were 6.2 thousand units, including: a total mass of over 14 tons - 6,454 units, medium-duty vehicles with full weight 8-14 tons - 55 units, from the materials of the company.

The share of KAMAZ in the Russian market of trucks with full weight over 14 tons (data on vehicle registration) for the first quarter of 2018 was 41.9%. At the same time, the company's total sales in the first quarter of 2018 were 6,653 cars (a decrease of 3.4% in annual terms), reports Prime agency.

The revenue from sales of trucks for the first quarter grew by almost 10% compared to the same period of last year - to 20.7 billion rubles. KAMAZ ranks 11th among the world's leading manufacturers of heavy trucks and eighth in the world in terms of production of diesel engines. KAMAZ shareholders include state corporation Rostec (49.9%), Avtoinvest Ltd (23.54%), German Daimler (15%).
