"Suzuki Motor Rus" presented its development strategy to 2020

On April 19th in Moscow, it was held a press conference of the company Suzuki, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of work in Russia. The main speaker at this event was the new general director of "Suzuki Motor Rus", Mr. Takahashi Utah, who introduced the new development strategy of the company until 2020 - "Suzuki Next 100". This strategy provides the strengthening of the position of the European market as one of the main for the company, launch to the market of 20 new models until 2020 and increasing sales by this time up to 300,000 cars in Europe.

As for the Russian market, the plans of "Suzuki Motor Rus" are the increase of sales up to 6,500 vehicles this year. Also, it was due to the expansion of sales support programs, such as Suzuki Finance, Suzuki Insurance and assistance programs on the roads of Suzuki Assistance. Also this year the company plans to bring to the market special versions of models dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Vitara brand, the 20th anniversary of the Jimny brand, as well as special versions of the Suzuki SX4 and the updated Suzuki Vitara. The growth of customer loyalty is another challenge for Suzuki Motor Rus this year. It is planned to solve it by using the program "Suzuki Drive +", created to manage the residual value of the car and reduce the cost of ownership.

Also, the company "Suzuki Motor Rus" plans to focus mainly on the marketing activities to increase the recognition of the brand and positioning Suzuki as an SUV-brand. As previously reported "AUTOSTAT" in the 1st quarter of 2018, Russian dealers of Suzuki sold 848 cars - less by 13% than a year ago.
