Every fourth car in Moscow – is a Japanese brand


According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", in Moscow there are 3.71 million cars (as of January 1st, 2018). At the same time, the largest share of the capital's parc is accounted for Japanese brands - 24.3%. In other words, every fourth car in Moscow is Japanese.

On the second place by this indicator there are cars of German brands, whose share is 20%, i.е. this is every fifth car in the capital. Russian brands own 17.1% of the Moscow parc or approximately the every sixth car. The cars of Korean brands (14.2%) come the next by occupying the seventh part of the parc.

Also on the roads of Moscow you can find cars of American (9.3%), French (5.9%), Czech (3.5%), Swedish (2.2%) and British (1.7%) brands. The share of other brands is less than 1% of the capital's parc.
