LADA Vesta set a new sales record in February

The flagship model of AVTOVAZ LADA Vesta in February set its own sales record from the moment the model entered the Russian market. This result is largely ensured by the start of sales of the new station wagon LADA Vesta SW and its off-road version of the Vesta SW Cross in October of the last year.

As noted in the review of the Russian car market in February, the most sold model in Russia was again KIA Rio, whose sales were 8979 cars (+ 28%), including 2132 new cross-hatchback Rio X-Line. Thus, LADA Vesta dropped to the second place with the figure of 8456 cars (+ 66%). The third result was shown by LADA Granta - 6861 sold cars (+ 30%). Leadership among the SUV models is still kept by the Hyundai Creta crossover, which sold 5937 units (+ 46%). Hyundai Solaris sedan is the next - 4600 consumers have chosen it (+ 49%).

Sales of the Volkswagen Polo sedan grew by 10% up to 3,924 vehicles. The off-road car Renault Duster was sold in the amount of 3659 units (+ 13%). Demand for the LADA Largus wagon grew by 76% - to 3412 vehicles. Liftback Skoda Rapid was chosen by 2,821 customers, which is more by 41% than in the last year. This time the TOP-10 of most popular models in Russia is closed by off-road car LADA 4x4, whose result was 2678 cars (32%).
