    In February of 2019, sales of new cars in Russia fell by 3.6% in compare with February of 2018. The mass segment for the second month in a row shows a negative trend (-4.8%). Its sales amounted to 112,135 vehicles, which is 90.6% of the total sales.



In Tatarstan it will be opened the plant for manufacture of storage batteries


In the Special Economic Zone "Alabuga" on December 8th, 2017, the opening ceremony of the battery plant of Bars Technology Company, part of the "Korib" Group of Companies, will be held. Today, this is the only production in Russia, where the process of assembling batteries for cars and trucks is fully automated, reports the press service of Bars Technology.

The plant has implemented the Japan Industrial Standards (JIS) quality control system (JIS), which allows to exclude a default and to obtain accurately calibrated characteristics of the battery. During 2019, Bars Technology intends to take 15% of the battery market in Russia.

The goal of the plant is to increase the production to 4 million batteries per year by 2022, thereby becoming the leading player in Russia in the market of automotive batteries, and to become the leading supplier of battery to the conveyors of the country's automobile plants.
