According to the evaluation of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", according to the results of 9 months of 2017, almost 5 thousand new cars with a coupe or cabriolet type were sold in Russia.
The lion's share in this volume belongs to the German brand Mercedes-Benz - 63.4% or 3163 units.

Further in the ranking of sales of such cars there are also representatives of the "big German three" - BMW and Audi, which lag behind the leader with a noticeable margin. If result of the first brand for the reporting period was 624 units (the share - 12.5%), then the results of second one - was 589 units (11.8%). In the fourth position there is also the German premium brand - Porsche (279 units), whose share reaches 5.6%. The top-five of leaders with a share of 3.7% is closed by American Chevrolet (186 units).

Sales figures for coupes and convertibles of other brands look even more modest: Infiniti (38 units), Lexus (33 units), Nissan (31 units), Jaguar (25 units) and MINI (20 units). As the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" noted, the sale of cars with the body type "coupe" or "cabriolet" in our country remains at a very low level, it is only 0.5% of the total volume of the Russian market of new cars.
