Top-10 of best selling cars with a manual transmission in Russia


The analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a survey of the market of new cars in Russia for 9 months of 2017 and compiled a rating of the best selling models with a mechanical transmission.

According to the research results, the leader of this rating is LADA Granta. Sales of the domestic model in this performance for the reporting period were 64.1 thousand units - 7.3% more than in January-September 2016. In second place there is another Russian bestseller - sedan LADA Vesta, the result of which grew by 54.4% to 47.9 thousand cars. The third position is occupied by KIA Rio, whose sales in the version with "mechanics" reached 28.9 thousand sold units (+ 2.2%). In the fourth place there is the crossover Renault Duster (26.1 thousand units, -3.3%). The Chevrolet Niva SUV closes the top five (22.1 thousand units, + 2%).

The TOP-10 of the Russian market of new cars equipped with a manual transmission, includes LADA Largus (22.1 thousand units, + 8.6%), LADA XRAY (20.9 thousand units + 85.7%), Hyundai Solaris (20.9 thousand units, -23%), LADA 4x4 (20.3 thousand units, + 1.1%) and Renault Logan (19.2 thousand units, + 3.6%). In total, during the reporting period, sales of new cars with MCP in our country were 480 thousand units (+ 5%), which corresponds to a 45.9% share. At the same time a year ago this figure was 48.4%.
