The Russian LCV market remained the sixth in Europe in September

The Russian LCV market, which continued to grow in September, nevertheless remained on the sixth line of the European rating. According to the European Association of Automobile Manufacturers (ACEA), sales of light commercial vehicles in Europe remained at the last year's level and they were 194,981 units (+ 2.2%).

The leader among European countries by sales of LCV up to 3.5 tons was the UK, where this segment was 57,368 cars (-3.2%). The second place is occupied by France with the indicator of 35,487 sold cars (+ 0.5%), and the third place is occupied by Germany, whose LCV market was 22287 units (+ 9.9%). The fourth result was shown by Italy - 16,200 light commercial vehicles (-1.3%). This time the top-five of leaders is closed by Spain, where 15,001 cars were sold (+ 10.9%). 

If we take into consideration Russia when considering the European LCV market, then our country remains on the sixth place in the European championship. According to the agency "AUTOSTAT", sales of light commercial vehicles in Russia in September were 8,157 units (+ 6.6%).
