According to the results of monitoring, carried out by the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", in mid-October 2017 in Russia there are altogether 3413 official dealer centers for the sale and maintenance of cars. Considering the fact that in January of this year this figure was 3502 dealers, it turns out that over the last 9 months their number has decreased by 89 units. At the same time, 303 new auto centers were opened, and 392 closed.

The largest dealer network traditionally has a domestic brand LADA, which has 315 car dealerships. The second place in the overall standings and the leadership among foreign brands belongs to the Korean KIA, which in our country is represented by 178 dealers. The other Korean brand closes the top three - Hyundai, which has 171 dealers. In the TOP-10, the volume of dealer networks also includes: Renault (162 units), UAZ (155 units), GM-AVTOVAZ (142 units), Nissan (137 units), Volkswagen (130 units), Lifan (124 units) and Skoda (120 units). In addition to these, you can also mention Ford and Toyota, which also have more than a hundred dealers (108 each).

Most of all since the beginning of the year, the dealer network of the domestic UAZ has decreased, which became smaller by 25 dealers. Also, a noticeable number of dealerships lost is belonged to Chinese Lifan (-22). The Japanese company Mitsubishi had 14 auto centers less, the domestic brand LADA - 13, and GM-AVTOVAZ - 11. Skoda and Renault "lost" by 8 dealers, each.

However, during the reporting period some brands expanded their dealer networks. Best of all, it was done by the Uzbek Ravon, which added 35 car dealerships. Volkswagen became more by 9 dealers, by 8 - at Hyundai, by 7 - at SsangYong. We also note the appearance on the market of a new participant - the Chinese Foton, which formed a dealer network for the sale and maintenance of cars. Currently, it has 29 dealer centers.

Note: only official dealer centers for the sale and maintenance of cars in the territory of the Russian Federation (with the exception of service centers) were taken into account.
