"Avtotor" began the production of Hyundai HD78 with an extended base

Kaliningrad plant Avtotor expanded the line of produced medium-tonnage commercial vehicles Hyundai HD78 modification with an elongated wheelbase. The length of the wheelbase, compared with the previous version of Long grew by 1100 mm and it was 4835 mm. In the production line of the company, cars with an extended base are equipped with isothermal vans, aluminum and steel tilted side platforms, reports the press service of Avtotor. 

As noted, the extended version HD78 is in demand in the market for transportation of large-sized, construction cargo, intra-city delivery of food products, and also as a base for crane-manipulator plants.

Let's remind, the history of cooperation of "Autotor" with the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai originates from the launch in 2011 of production of trucks HD78. Since September of 2012, the Kaliningrad plant started the mass production of Hyundai trucks. To date, the line of commercial vehicles includes models HD35, HD65, HD78, HD120, HD170 with a wide range of add-ons.

In January of 2017, a pilot lot of the model LCV-segment - all-metal van H350 was produced. In April, Avtotor and Hyundai Motor Company launched a project to organize the production of a full cycle of commercial vehicles Hyundai.
