Toyota RAV4 is again available in Russia with a diesel engine

Russian dealers of Toyota have started the sales of the crossover Toyota RAV4 in new trim levels. So, the version of "Standard Plus" got dual-zone climate control, leather upholstery of the multifunctional steering wheel, electrochromic interior rearview mirror and rain sensor, reports the press service of Toyota Motor.

The "Comfort Plus" package, which will replace the popular version of "Comfort", received LED headlights for passing and driving, as well as an intelligent keyless entry and start-up system with a button. Within the framework of cooperation with the company Yandex Toyota decided to equip an Android-based multimedia system with an 8-inch display and access to Yandex online services at once three trim levels: Exclusive, Style and Prestige. In addition, Toyota returned a diesel version of the RAV4 crossover engine. The car, equipped with the turbo-diesel engine 2AD-FHV with a working volume of 2.0 liters and 150 hp, with a maximum torque of 340 Nm, will be available in two trim levels - Comfort Plus and Prestige.

As part of the adaptation to the operation in the cold season, the car got the pre-heated engine and interior heater with remote control function. Orders for the diesel version of the RAV4 are accepted from September 27th, at the dealer centers the car will be available after October 20th.

The starting price of the car in the configuration "Standard Plus" is from 1 million 540 thousand rubles. The "Comfort Plus" package with a petrol engine will be available from 1 million 658 thousand rubles, with a diesel engine - from 1 million 986 thousand rubles. As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", since September 1st, the minimum special prices for Toyota RAV4 Advetnure have been changed. Now, at special prices, a 2.0-liter all-wheel drive version can be purchased from 1 million 784 thousand rubles, and a 2.5-liter version - from 1 million 935 thousand rubles. The crossover in the Adventure special version differs from the standard model by the improved suspension, increased up to 170 mm clearance, a more powerful radiator and a TSC system.

According to the results of eight months of 2017, the best-seller of Toyota in the Russian market remains the crossover RAV4, whose sales grew by 3% to 21,466 units. As a result, it entered the top-three of best-selling SUV models in the Russian market, noted the analysts of the agency "AUTOSTAT".
