The share of sales of cars with automatic transmission is 54% in Russia
The analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a survey of the Russian market, which covered sales of new cars equipped with automatic transmission.
According to the results of the study, the market share of such cars was 53.9% in Russia in the first half of 2017. In quantitative terms, it corresponds to approximately 360,000 sold cars with automatic transmission, which is more by 12% than a year ago.
As analysts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" noted, the share of sales of cars with automatic transmission in our country continues to grow. So, by the results of 6 months of the last year it was 51.4%. As a result, this indicator increased by 2.5 percentage points for the year.
