Haval increased sales in Russia in the first half of the year


Russian dealers of Haval sold 182 cars in June, which was the best result since the beginning of the year. According to the results of the first half of 2017, 869 crossovers and SUVs of the brand were sold in Russia, which is more by 177% than in the same period of the last year, the press service of "Haval Motor Rus" informs. 

The bestseller of the model range remains the mid-size Haver H6 crossover, the share of which was 75% of Haval's total sales in the Russian market. In total, since the beginning of 2017, 652 such cars have been sold. For the Russian customer there are available versions of the H6 with a 1.5-liter petrol (150 hp / 210 Nm) or 2.0-liter diesel (150 hp / 310 Nm) engine. The choice is also provided with a front or all-wheel drive, a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. The price of the crossover, depending on the version and configuration, ranges from 1 million 119 thousand to 1 million 369 thousand rubles.

"The increase in sales compared with the same period was 177% of the last year. At the same time it is worth noting that we sold 869 cars in the first half of the year with the help of 6 dealers. Today we have 10 car dealerships in Russia: 4 new dealers joined us in June this year. Of course, we expect further sales growth. High-quality and demanded product, balanced pricing policy and systematic work to expand the dealer network allow us to develop confidently in the Russian market, despite the crisis. At the same time, at this stage we are not pursuing sales volumes. Today, it is important for us to create a reliable dealer network, develop profitable programs for dealers and customers, in general, to prepare as much as possible for the launch of the plant in the Tula region," - said General Director of "Haval Motor Rus”, Kou Syuguang.
