Hyundai Creta kept the leadership in SUV segment in May

The compact crossover Hyundai Creta in May remained the bestseller in the SUV segment in the Russian market, by keeping the leadership for the tenth month in a row. Last month, the sales of this model were 4203 cars.

The second place is held by Renault Duster, at which 3456 buyers (-17%) stopped their choice. The third place was occupied by Toyota RAV4 with the figure of 3166 sold cars (+ 23%). The next is Renault Kaptur, which was sold in amount of 2,669 units. This time the top-five of most popular off-road vehicles in Russia is closed by Chevrolet Niva, whose sales were 2,422 vehicles (+ 3%). The TOP-10 of bestsellers of the SUV segment included also KIA Sportage (2258 units, + 60%), LADA 4x4 (2207 units, + 21%), Volkswagen Tiguan (2165 units, the growth 3.4 times), Nissan Qashqai (1607 units, + 3%) and Nissan X-Trail (1550 units, + 2%).

It should be noted that for the five months of 2017, the leader among the SUV models is also Hyundai Creta with an indicator of 20131 sold cars. RenaultDuster comes the next, which was sold in amount of 15886 units (-18%) and Toyota RAV4, which was sold in amount of 12,449 cars (-12%).
