In the company of Peugeot it was informed about the novelties for the Russian market

In the first quarter of 2017, Peugeot in Russia for the first time in many months showed sales growth, but it was only the first swallow, said Managing Director of Peugeot, Citroen and DS brands in Russia, Alexander Migal.

According to him, a new plan to promote the brand, developed a year ago, begins to work, and this year the company plans to introduce several new models to the Russian market. For beginning – there are several new, but already popular modifications of the popular commercial vehicle Boxer. Next will be an updated sedan 408, sales of which will start in June.

In summer, dealers will begin to receive a new crossover 3008, which was recognized as the best car in Europe at the last motor show in Geneva. The ground clearance of the crossover for Russia has grown to 230 mm, but it is not equipped with all-wheel drive in any of the complete sets. Just like the other crossover – 5008 of new generation, which will appear in Russia at the end of the year. 

And one more novelty in the segment of commercial cars from Peugeot – is Expert. Its sales in Russia will also start in June of this year.

Concerning the production of these models in our country at the Kaluga plant of the company, Mr. Migal expressed cautious optimism: "Let's see how the sales of imported cars start and we hope for the success. Then it will be possible to decide which of them we will assemble in Russia and in what quantity”.
