There are sold 28% of KIA cars by preferential car loans

By the results of March and the first quarter of 2017, 32% of retail sales of KIA cars were made on credit by KIA Finance programs. Demand for loans grew by 63% in the last month and by 67% in January-March against the similar indicators in 2016, reports the press service of KIA Motors Rus.

As it was noted, 28% of KIA cars were sold on credit in the framework of the state program of preferential car loans with a rate of 6.7% per annum. This is about 85% of the total number of auto loans issued by KIA Finance in March and the first quarter of 2017 as a whole.

The loan program "KIA Easy!" with a guaranteed bank residual value of the car is also in great demand. Since the launch of the program in July of 2016 until the end of March 2017, more than 7,000 KIA cars were sold, and about 3,000 of them were sold in the first quarter of this year. Part of this is due to the fact that since February of 2017 the "KIA Easy!" Program has been extended to the KIA new cars - the updated Cerato and Soul.

The leasing program for individuals "Leasing KIA Finance" is available to customers of authorized KIA dealers in four major cities of Russia. The main advantage of purchasing cars by individuals for leasing is the opportunity to make a purchase with zero advance payment.

As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", by the results of the first quarter the Russian dealers of KIA sold 37,310 cars - more by 13.5% than a year before. As a result, KIA kept the leadership among foreign cars, and the market share of the brand was 11.6% compared to 10.3% a year before, according to the AEB.
