The production of the new Honda CR-V for Russia began

At the Honda plant in East Liberty, Ohio, the production of the fifth-generation CR-V model for the Russian market started. The new Honda CR-V will make its debut in Russia in mid-2017. The Russian market will be the second in the world, where sales of the new model will start, informed the press service of Honda. The start of sales, prices and configurations of the new CR-V for the Russian market will be announced later.

The new Honda CR-V for the Russian market will be adapted to winter conditions of use, in particular, the heated zone of windshield wipers, the car is equipped in all configurations. Also all versions as standard option are equipped with an electronic parking brake.

The new CR-V will be powered by DOHC i-VTEC 2.0-liter and 2.4-liter engines, working in conjunction with CVT. All models are equipped with a four-wheel drive system. Among the options that are available for the new Honda CR-V, it is worth noting the remote engine start, intelligent access system Smart Entry, which allows unlocking and locking the driver's door with a touch of the hand, LaneWatch technology, through which the image of the dead zone to the right of the car is displayed on the central panel display, and also the driver fatigue monitoring system Driver Attention Monitor.

The new CR-V will receive a new multimedia system based on Android OS with extensive support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces.
