Rating of car brands by the quality of performed work at the dealers’ service centres (on opinion of car owners)

The analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", within the preparation of the report "AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS - 2016". New cars: the opinions of car owners", conducted an assessment of the satisfaction with the service of the dealer service centre by several criterions.

This research was conducted through an online and telephone survey in December of 2016, in which more than 3,000 Russian car owners of various brands (at least 100 questionnaires per brand) took part.

This time, we present the results of the study on the criterion "Quality of performed work at the dealer service". Therewith, the rest criteria, as well as the overall service satisfaction index, can be found in the report itself.

According to the results of the study, Lexus dealers have the highest satisfaction index for the quality of performed work. The index of the Japanese premium brand was 86.7 points out of 100 possible. In the top three there are two more premium brands - German Mercedes-Benz (85.9 points) and BMW (83.1 points).

Outside of top-three, there is Korean Hyundai (83 points), which is quite a bit lost to the leaders. Then, with the same results we can see Japanese Nissan and Toyota (81.2 points each). The result of 80 points was also overcome by Suzuki (80.8), Volvo (80.4) and Mazda (80.3). Audi is behind of it (79.9), which closed the top ten of brands.
