Lexus cars have the highest index of satisfaction of car owners

Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" at the end of 2015 conducted a study of the overall index of satisfaction of the owners with their cars of different brands, which was based on the basis of the survey.

We should note that this figure is calculated on the basis of four partial indices and shows the overall level of satisfaction since the date of purchase and in the process of car owning. As the partial indices there are the following: the index of satisfaction with the vehicle; satisfaction index with the purchase at a dealer; service satisfaction index with the dealer; satisfaction index with the cost of ownership.

According to the study, Lexus has the highest index of satisfaction of car owners - 89,1 points. The reason for the success of this premium brand is the fact that it is the leader by two of the four partial indices (car satisfaction and satisfaction with the purchase at dealer), and by the other two it is among the top three. With a lag of more than two points Audi is in second place (86,9) and Volvo closes the top-three (85,9).

The overall index of satisfaction of car owners at twelve brands was higher than average in the sample (79.7 points). At the same time there were both premium brands (Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover, BMW), and a number of mass. In turn, this figure is lower than the average at fifteen brands. In addition, to some mass foreign cars, there were also included Chinese and Russian manufactures. This rating was closed by the Uzbek-Korean brand Daewoo (less than 70 points).
