    How the passenger car preferences of Russians changed - this became the subject of another research by AUTOSTAT analytic agency and Auto Mail.ru portal. A joint ‘Dream Car’ online survey, where more than 9,500 respondents took part, was carried out in June 2019.



Since January to April, the number of dealers in Russia fell by 6%


Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of automakers of dealer networks in the Russian market. According to the survey, as of April 2016 in Russia there are more than 3.5 thousand authorized dealers of cars. Given the fact that in January of this year their number was about 3.8 thousand units, it fell by about 6% for three months

Domestic brand LADA still have the largest dealer network in the country, which consists of 331 dealerships. Second place in the total standing and the leadership among foreign manufacturers are divided between the French Renault and the Korean KIA - each of these brands is represented by 169 dealers in Russia. Slightly behind this domestic brand there is UAZ dealer network, which covers 167 auto centers. The top-10 by volume of dealer networks also include Hyundai (153), GM-AVTOVAZ (150), Lifan (146), Nissan (145), Volkswagen and Skoda (125). Apart from them, we can also note Mitsubishi, Ford and Toyota, which have also more than a hundred dealers.

The most of all in the past three months the dealer network of Opel and Chevrolet fell, who have lost 87 and 42 respectively Dealers. At the same time the German brand has only service centers, and in the US there are 9 more dealers that sell and service Chevrolet vehicles of the premium segment. The dealer network declined by 25 car centers at Changan, by 12 - at the Honda, by 8 - at the Great Wall, by 6 - at Geely, Lifan and SsangYong.

However, some manufacturers have the expanding of dealer networks. At the same time it touched the most AVTOVAZ dealer network, which increased by 10 dealers. Hawtai has more by 8 auto centers, by 4 - at Ford. At such brands as KIA, UAZ, Mercedes-Benz and BMW, the dealership network expanded by 1 - 2 auto centers.
