    For the last year, 1 million 671.6 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Russia, which is more by 13.3% than in the last year. At the same time, in December of 2018, sales of new cars were 158.3 thousand units, which is more by 3.9% than a year ago. As for crossovers and SUVs, their sales in January-December grew by 18.1% in compare with 2017 and they were 729.2 thousand cars. The segment's share in total sales grew by 1.7 percentage points and reached 43.6%.

Russian buyers Porsche are younger the European ones

"Unlike typical feature of customers in Russia – is their age. They are much younger than European fans of the brand. Second, the Russian buyers are seriously interested in the technical part of the car. Finally, the Russian customers are distinguished by great desire for personalization of a car; they want to be fully reflected in the created car. In addition, the Russian customers prefer very bright colors, by emphasizing their individuality", - said Thomas Shtertsel.

The company analyzes constantly the operation of Porsche cars in the Russian conditions on the basis of data obtained from dealers and owners that allows us to optimize the configuration of the vehicle during the order. The analysis takes into account everything: and climatic features, and the quality of roads, and other local factors.
