Russian dealers of Suzuki at the end of 2015 sold 6540 cars, which is less by 67% than a year ago. Best-seller of brand was crossover Grand Vitara with a share of 32%. The share of sales of new crossover Vitara was 25% less than for six months. SX4 Crossover also became one of the most popular models of the brand with a share of 22%, informed the press service of "Suzuki Motor Rus".

Despite the difficult conditions for the automotive industry, Suzuki will continue its activities in Russia. "We believe in the potential of the Russian car market and we believe that the difficulties facing the Russian economy at the moment cannot go on forever. We hope that the economic situation in Russia is stabilizing gradually, and it will positively affect the dynamics of sales, so our office will operate normally. At the moment, we are preparing the start of sales of two new models: the turbocharged version of the Grand Vitara in March and updated crossover SX4 in September", - said the General Director of Suzuki in Russia, Keiichi Sumida.

Suzuki will continue to bet on the development of the SUV-segment. This year the company expects to keep at least the level of sales the last year. "We believe that the leader by sales in 2016 will be our new crossover Vitara, which has all chances to become one of the best cars in its segment," - says Keiichi Sumida.

Suzuki company has also plans to expand its dealer network: there are expected the opening of salons in Penza, Voronezh and Belgorod. At the moment the dealer network Suzuki has 54 showrooms in 38 cities and it covers almost the whole country - from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka.
