"NefAZ" is modernizing model range

  Neftekamsk Automobile Plant, a subsidiary of KAMAZ in Bashkortostan, announced the preliminary results for the year.  

   According to the director "NefAZ", Nikolai Pronin, thanks to the participation of the enterprise in the federal program for the purchase of vehicles on natural gas, from April bus production is running at full capacity, it was delivered 546 buses.  "According to preliminary results, we were able even slightly to increase the share in the fallen during the crisis market”, - said Nikolai Pronin.  – “In tandem with "RariTEK" the section of LPG equipment was moved here and as a result the ready for operation bus leaves Neftekamsk plant. "Buses of "NefAZ" got the completely renovated interior - modern materials and technology came to the aid.  So far, there are no large orders for shift buses, but here the plant is ready to offer customers new solutions, by following the path of the sandwich panels.  

   Improving of products is in accordance with traditional dump settings, which "NefAZ" produces more than 40 modifications.  More than 4,500 dump trucks were already produced, plans of December - are still 850. For the timely provision of conveyor with cylinders at the territory of plant, it was created a joint venture with the company Palfinger.  At the same time Nikolai Pronin noted the successful cooperation with the South African company BELL - the third largest manufacturer of articulated dump trucks. "This is fundamentally different class, it is not a competitor of KAMAZ dump vehicles, but KAMAZ receive a chance to go to the new market through “NefAZ”, - says Nikolay Pronin.  – “The vehicle has passed already the controlled operation at one of the mining and processing plants, and so far it has minimum comments”.  

   In addition, the modernization of the entire model range is held on a capacitive-filler technology.  It was mastered two fundamentally new products - heat-insulated tank for transportation of water and insulated truck mixer, shown at the exhibition "Commercial Vehicles-2015".  Positive results are shown by the project "two in one" - it is the realization of KAMAZ plans to merge two plants that produce trailers.  Thus, in February it was launched the "moving" of the Stavropol plant "NefAZ."  It was optimized the duplication of actual productions, eliminated internal competition: model range was similar, there were some differences between the sides, axes.

 "Now we produce not Nefaz or Stavropol trailers but hybrid ones – there were found optimal design solutions”, - said the head of "NefAZ".  – “The market share of trailers, always divided for two plants, has grown this year compared to 2013-2014”. According to his forecasts, before the end of the year it will be sold 2,500 units, formed the portfolio of orders for 2016.
