Ukrainian car market showed the best result since the beginning of the year in October

Sales of new cars in Ukraine by results of October fell by 5% and they were 5596 units. According to the Association of Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers' “Ukravtoprom”, October sales result was the best since the beginning of the year, therewith it was recorded the smallest decline to the previous year. For ten months of 2015, Ukraine it was sold 35983 cars - almost by 56% less than the year before.

From January to October, sales of new passenger cars did not exceed the results of the previous year, which, since May, were the worst for the Ukrainian market of new cars for the last 12 years, noted in the association "Ukravtoprom". In addition, despite some activation in consumer activity, which is taking place in recent years, the market share of cars, manufactured and assembled in the Ukrainian plants, is still quite low, and from January to October it was about 15% against 30% in 2014.

For the first ten months of 2015 the leadership in the Ukrainian market is still kept by Toyota, which sold 3870 cars, which is less by 55% compared to the last year. Renault still keeps the second place with 3246 of sold cars (-24%), and the third result was shown by the local brand ZAZ - 2315 cars (-67%). Then Nissan follows - Japanese brand cars were chosen by 2170 buyers (-43%). Ford closes the "top-five" of leaders, whose dealers have sold 1951 cars (-47%).
