KAMAZ starts the truck assembly at Azerbaijan

KAMAZ opened the assembly line of its vehicles in the territory of the Production Association "Ganja Automobile Plant" (Azerbaijan) in the development of signed agreements in December 2014.

The first in a new line will be assembled the lot of platform trucks KAMAZ-43114, and in the near future it will be mastered the assembly of truck KAMAZ-65115, SKD kits of which have already come to the enterprise. Further development of assembly plant involves an expansion of model range: it will also appear onboard trucks KAMAZ-65117, heavy dump trucks KAMAZ-6520. In addition, emphasis is to be made on the promotion of agricultural trucks. It is predicted that the main customers of trucks "KAMAZ" will be a variety of government agencies, industrial companies, municipalities, major cities, construction companies, carriers.

Parallel to the development of assembly production it is already solved issues related to the modernization of commodity distribution and service network. Priority in the development of long-term relations of production association "Ganja Automobile Plant" and KAMAZ in Azerbaijan is providing consumers with a high level of service of vehicles "KAMAZ" with environmental standards "Euro-4, -5," and clear supply of original spare parts.
