KAMAZ will deliver more than 1,000 NGV vehicles

Within the program for the development of the market for the NGV vehicles and support of domestic automakers KAMAZ is ready to sell for consumers more than 1,000 such vehicles. The Russian government until the end of the year will allocate funds for the purchase of regional gas-powered buses and vehicles for housing and utilities in amount of 3.77 billion Rubles, or about 30% of the cost of the equipment. 

Recall that KAMAZ is an active participant in government programs aimed at the development of NGV market in the regions of the Volga Federal District of vehicles. Thus, the program of the Russian government identified 18 "pilot" regions for the development of NGV areas, six of which are part of the Volga district - Republic of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan, Udmurtia, Nizhny Novgorod, Orenburg and Samara regions. Under the terms of the integrated program, the participants in the face of "Gazprom", KAMAZ and municipalities take measures for the construction of gas stations, deliver the gas-engine vehicles, make its service and training of technical staff in the regions. 

Today, in 9 of 14 regions of the Volga district, there are in operation more than 355 units of gas vehicles "KAMAZ" and bus "NEFAZ". In connection with the provision of state subsidies, this number will increase significantly: up to the middle of next year KAMAZ within this state program and the existing agreements with the regions plans to deliver 500 buses "NEFAZ" to consumers, 200 buses of small capacity Bravis and 400 units of special equipment for the needs of utilities.
