"AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS" is an annual project of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", which is a survey of car owners according to a certain methodology and makes it possible to compare assessment indicators over time.
In the spring of 2022 (in addition to the annual autumn wave), the fourth spring wave of the project will be released, which is aimed at identifying consumer preferences in the purchase and operation of summer tires.

In 2021, 1,666,780 new passenger cars and LCVs were sold in Russia (according to the AEB). This is 4.3% higher than in 2020. The experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" decided to consider the results of car sales in our country in more detail. Traditionally, during the year, the domestic brand LADA held the leadership here - its sales were 350,714 units, which is 2.1% higher than in 2020.

At the end of 2021, sales of new cars in Russia showed the growth both in the mass and premium segments, experts of the AUTOSTAT analytical agency noted. Thus, in the mass segment, sales of cars grew by 3.1% to 1,420.3 thousand units. But 9 brands included in the TOP-25 in terms of sales (AEB statistics) showed a negative trend.

The share of sales of new crossovers and SUVs exceeded 50%, experts from the AUTOSTAT agency found out. And this can be considered one of the main results of 2021, because earlier the market share of SUVs was less than 50%.
