"AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS" is an annual project of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", which is a survey of car owners according to a certain methodology and makes it possible to compare assessment indicators over time.

For the first half of 2021, 291.4 thousand new passenger cars with a manual transmission were sold in Russia. According to the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT", this is 36% of the total volume of the Russian car market. Most of all cars with "mechanics" are traditionally sold by the domestic brand LADA - for 6 months its result was 174.5 thousand units.

The experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" found out that the share of new passenger cars equipped with automatic transmission (AT)* accounts for 64% of the Russian market volume. At the same time, the sales share of cars with AT differs markedly among different brands. Most of all passenger cars with "automatic" transmission in our country were sold by Kia.

The capacity of the Russian market of new passenger cars in the 1st half of 2021 was 1,531 billion rubles. As experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" note, this is 54% higher than in January-June of the last year (997 billion rubles). During this period, most of the money was spent on the purchase of Kia cars - 172.4 billion rubles.
