"AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS" is an annual project of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", which is a survey of car owners according to a certain methodology and makes it possible to compare assessment indicators over time.

The experts of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT" decided to see which cars of the SUV segment were sold in the Russian car market more than others for the previous 10 years. As a result, based on the data of the AEB, the TOP-10 of such models was compiled.

In 2020, 1.49 million new passenger cars were sold in Russia, represented by 290 models (according to the AEB). The experts of the AUTOSTAT agency decided to divide this volume into classes and this is what happened. About a half (48.5% or 720.8 thousand units) of sold cars includes crossovers and SUVs, among which there were 151 models in the Russian market last year.
