"AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS" is an annual project of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", which is a survey of car owners according to a certain methodology and makes it possible to compare assessment indicators over time.
In the spring of 2022 (in addition to the annual autumn wave), the fourth spring wave of the project will be released, which is aimed at identifying consumer preferences in the purchase and operation of summer tires.

In January-March 2023, new crossovers and SUVs occupied a share of 63.6% in the Russian market, experts of AUTOSTAT agency reported with reference to the data of JSC "PPK" ***. In quantitative terms, this amounts to 109 thousand sold cars. At the same time, more than a half (52%) of this number accounted for ten models.
TOP-10 is headed by domestic SUV LADA Niva Travel. In the first three months since the beginning of the year, 10,449 such vehicles were sold. Experts noted that sales of this model increased by 69% in compare with the 1st quarter of last year.
The second place in this rating belongs to Chinese crossover Haval Jolion, the result of which was 7,165 units, and the market dynamics in comparison with APPG was even higher (+83%). The third position, with a difference of only 3 cars, is occupied by LADA Niva Legend SUV (7,162 units; +90%).
Experts also noted that in the top-ten, not a single model went into the red, all showed growth in the range from 69% (Niva Travel) to 250% (Geely Coolray, which is in fourth place of our rating with 6,316 sold units). Chery Tiggo 7 PRO finishes the TOP-5 (5 843 units). They are followed by OMODA C5 (5,404 units), Geely Atlas Pro (3,804 units), Chery Tiggo 4 PRO (3,670 units), Haval F7x (3,450 units), Chery Tiggo 8 PRO Max (3,147 units).
Please note that three of ten models in the rating are newcomers to the market, a year ago they were not sold in our country: OMODA C5, Chery Tiggo 4 PRO, Chery Tiggo 8 PRO Max. The infographic also allows us to see what share of the brand is occupied by each of ten models. Thus, OMODA C5 has so far been the only model in the brand's lineup (its share was 100%), and every second Geely car sold was a Coolray model (its share in the brand's sales is almost 53%). But LADA Niva Legend is only every ninth of all Lada cars sold in the 1st quarter of 2023 (share - 11.3%).
