"AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS" is an annual project of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", which is a survey of car owners according to a certain methodology and makes it possible to compare assessment indicators over time.
In the spring of 2022 (in addition to the annual autumn wave), the fourth spring wave of the project will be released, which is aimed at identifying consumer preferences in the purchase and operation of summer tires.

During the preparation of the updated marketing report "Car service market in Russia", the experts of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT" determined the total capacity of the Russian market of services for passenger cars in 2022. Thus, in the 69 largest regions of the Russian Federation, where more than 97% of the car fleet is registered, the total capacity of the car service market was 760 billion rubles.
This included the market volume of maintenance and repair services (432.1 billion rubles) and leading services (327.9 billion rubles). The share of official dealers (52.3 billion rubles) accounted for 12% of the volume of the maintenance and repair services market. Independent service stations occupied almost 3 times more (35% or 151.1 billion rubles), and experts estimate the market potential (i.e., work performed personally by car owners or private mechanics) at 53% (228.7 billion rubles).
Note that only the price of work itself was taken into account, without taking into account the sale of spare parts and consumables. In addition, the volumes of the most demanded services were also calculated - such as a car wash (150.9 billion rubles), tire fitting (31.7 billion rubles) and body repair (145.3 billion rubles).
