"AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS" is an annual project of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", which is a survey of car owners according to a certain methodology and makes it possible to compare assessment indicators over time.
In the spring of 2022 (in addition to the annual autumn wave), the fourth spring wave of the project will be released, which is aimed at identifying consumer preferences in the purchase and operation of summer tires.
This is due to the long period of development of competencies to create high-quality products
Residents of our country began to spend more by 1,000 rubles in average per month for car maintenance than before. Such data were obtained by the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" by comparing the results of online surveys conducted in March and June, while preparing the marketing report "Barometer of mood and financial situation of Russian car owners". If in March Russians spent 9,078 rubles in average to maintain a car, then in June - already 10,037 rubles. In other words, the monthly cost of a car grew by almost 1,000 rubles, or about 11%.
It is clear that these costs can vary greatly, because many people have different cars, and monthly mileage also varies. Relatively speaking some can spend less than 5 thousand rubles per month on maintaining a car, while others can spend more than 30 thousand. Therefore, we became interested in how the costs in various categories have changed. As it turned out, there are more car owners in Russia who spend from 10,000 to 15,000 rubles for a car per month. If in March there were 17.2% of them, then in June - 21.5%. The share of those who spend 15-20 thousand rubles (from 6.4% to 9.1%) and 20-30 thousand rubles (from 2.9% to 3.7%) has also increased.
However, the largest group of car owners remains the one whose expenses range from 5,000 to 10,000 rubles per month. In early spring, it accounted for 40.3%, and in early summer - slightly less (39.4%). The second largest group includes those who spend less 5 thousand rubles monthly. For three months, their share also decreased - from 29.3% to 23.4%. Those who spend more than 30 thousand rubles per a month for a car are left with almost the same amount - just over 2%.
