The Korean compact crossover Hyundai Creta has been the undisputed leader of the SUV segment in Russia for a long time. For 8 months of this year, its sales (49,548 units) have come close to 50 thousand. The experts of the AUTOSTAT agency decided to see how much this model costs today, as well as other popular crossovers and SUVs, the weighted average * price of which does not exceed 2 million rubles. So, the cost of the most popular crossover, Hyundai Creta, today varies from 1,199,000 to 1,990,000 rubles, and its weighted average price is 1,387,700 rubles.

The second most popular is Renault Duster, which sold 26,715 units during the specified period. Its basic version can be purchased for 1,004,000 rubles, but the weighted average price of 1,273,500 rubles looks much more realistic. The domestic SUV LADA Niva Legend finishes the top three, its sales volume from January to August reached 20,296 units. This is the most affordable representative of the SUV segment with a starting price of 649,900 rubles. Its weighted average price is also the lowest in the TOP-10 and reaches 682,000 rubles.

In fourth place there is the most expensive model in the rating, Kia Sportage. Despite the high initial price (1,854,900 rubles) and the weighted average (1,983,700 rubles), sales of this "Korean" for the reporting period were 18,289 vehicles. This is almost 500 cars more than that of the LADA Niva Travel SUV, the price of which is 2.3 times lower - from 820,900 rubles. The sales of the Russian SUV reached 17,791 units, and the weighted average price was 860,600 rubles.

The sixth and seventh places are occupied by Skoda Karoq (price - from 1,611,000 rubles, weighted average - 1,791,600 rubles) and Renault Kaptur (price - from 1,206,000 rubles, weighted average - 1,348,200 rubles). Their sales volumes are 14,049 and 13,095 vehicles, respectively. The last three lines are occupied by crossovers with more than 12 thousand sold cars - Kia Seltos (12 788 units), Nissan Qashqai (12 272 units) and Renault Arkana (12 230 units).

The price of Kia Seltos and Renault Arkana "in the base" is quite comparable - from 1,299,900 and 1,286,000 rubles, respectively. But their weighted average prices differ quite significantly - 1,616,100 and 1,473,900 rubles, respectively. Nissan Qashqai will cost more - from 1,615,000 rubles, while its weighted average price is also quite high - 1,879,500 rubles.
