"AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS" is an annual project of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", which is a survey of car owners according to a certain methodology and makes it possible to compare assessment indicators over time.
In the spring of 2022 (in addition to the annual autumn wave), the fourth spring wave of the project will be released, which is aimed at identifying consumer preferences in the purchase and operation of summer tires.
The company's president, Maxim Sokolov, told about this.
Specialists of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT" in the framework of the preparation of the report "The market of car batteries in Russia. Results of 2020, Trends and Prospects” decided to find out with which batteries of passenger cars Russian car owners are familiar, what brands of manufacturers they are able to recall with a hint. In the course of the study, the respondents were asked to mark the brands of batteries (among 46 that are presented in the Russian market) that they are familiar with, as well as add their own answer options.
According to the results of this survey, experts have calculated the recognition rate of car batteries "with a hint". The undisputed leader of this rating was Bosch brand, which was noted among the familiar brands by more than 77% of the survey participants. The second place, with a noticeable lag, is occupied by VARTA batteries (55.6%). The third position was taken by the Turkish brand Mutlu, which received 41% of the votes. Energizer is the fourth one with 33.4%.
The top-five of the most popular batteries is finished by the Russian brand Titan (33.1%), which is also remembered by every third respondent. In addition to them, four more Russian brands entered the TOP-10 of the most recognizable brands of batteries: TyumenBattery (30.4%), AKOM (29.9%), Zver (26.5%), Bravo (17.5%) %), as well as Bars batteries (21.8%), produced by the Kazakhstan plant "Kainar". It should be noted that about 4% of the survey participants, even with a hint, did not remember a single battery brand.
