"AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS" is an annual project of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", which is a survey of car owners according to a certain methodology and makes it possible to compare assessment indicators over time.
In the spring of 2022 (in addition to the annual autumn wave), the fourth spring wave of the project will be released, which is aimed at identifying consumer preferences in the purchase and operation of summer tires.
Recall that in January it grew by 7%.
The capacity of the Russian market of new passenger cars in the 1st quarter of 2021 was 680.3 billion rubles. As experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" noted, this is 8.3% higher than in January - March of the previous year (628.4 billion rubles). During this period, most of the money was spent on the purchase of KIA cars - 76.4 billion rubles.
The second place is occupied by Toyota cars (68.6 billion rubles). Comparable market capacity (66.2 billion rubles) is at Mercedes-Benz, which occupies the third place of our rating. Another German premium brand is the next - BMW (62 billion rubles), and the domestic LADA (61.2 billion rubles) finishes the top five. Note that the Russian brand has the lowest weighted average price in the TOP-10 - 748.3 thousand rubles.
And it is the highest at Mercedes-Benz - 6 136.7 thousand rubles. The TOP-10 brands in terms of market capacity also included: Hyundai (53.1 billion rubles), Volkswagen (37.5 billion rubles), Skoda (37.5 billion rubles), Renault (32.7 billion rubles) and Nissan (26.1 billion rubles). Experts note that in comparison with the previous year's results, the market capacity of most brands (6 out of 10) has increased. Best of all it was done by premium "Germans" - BMW (+ 20.9%) and Mercedes-Benz (+ 24%). This indicator fell at four brands and the strongest such decline was noted at Nissan (-17.2%).
