The experts of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT" decided to see which cars of the SUV segment were sold in the Russian car market more than others for the previous 10 years. As a result, based on the data of the AEB, the TOP-10 of such models was compiled.
It was headed by the French Renault Duster crossover, sold between 2011 and 2020 in the amount of 451.1 thousand units. The domestic off-road vehicle LADA 4x4 with sales volume for the same period of 395.7 thousand units is second one. Chevrolet Niva SUV is also in the top three with the result of 374 thousand cars. The Japanese crossover Toyota RAV4 (322 thousand units) also crossed the threshold of 300 thousand sold cars, which took the fourth place in the rating.
The fifth position is occupied by the Korean Hyundai Creta (289.8 thousand units). KIA Sportage (280.2 thousand units), Volkswagen Tiguan (254.9 thousand units), Nissan Qashqai (248.6 thousand units), Nissan X- Trail (222.6 thousand units) and Mitsubishi Outlander (206.8 thousand units) are also in the TOP-10 by the results of sales for the last 10 years.
