According to the analytic agency AUTOSTAT, in January - April of 2020, Russians bought * a little more than 95 thousand new crossovers and SUVs of segment C. This is the largest segment among all bought new SUVs, which has 45%.
The most popular model of the SUV (C) segment this year was the new generation Toyota RAV4 crossover. Despite the highest starting price in the TOP-10 (1 million 820 thousand rubles), 12.6 thousand Russians became its owners for 4 months. Thus, Toyota RAV4 has 13.3% in the SUV (C) segment.
In turn, the former leader - VolkswagenTiguan, which in the "base" costs 1 million 659 thousand rubles, is the second one in the ranking. Its result is 10.7 thousand sold cars, which corresponds to a share of 11.3%. The top-3 included another "Japanese", Nissan Qashqai, with a price of 1 million 319 thousand rubles. At the same time, its circulation reached 8.4 thousand units, and its share was 8.8%.
KIA Sportage crossover has a comparable initial price, from 1 million 389.9 thousand rubles, which is the fourth one (8.2 thousand units). Nissan X-Trail finished the top-5 of the most popular SUV (C) models (7.1 thousand units), the price of which starts from 1 million 676 thousand rubles.
