"AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS" is an annual project of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", which is a survey of car owners according to a certain methodology and makes it possible to compare assessment indicators over time.

In the spring of 2022 (in addition to the annual autumn wave), the fourth spring wave of the project will be released, which is aimed at identifying consumer preferences in the purchase and operation of summer tires.

In November of 2019, the analytical agency AUTOSTAT and the portal Auto Mail.Ru conducted an online survey in which more than 8,000 Russian car owners took part. This study dealt with consumer preferences in choosing cars of Chinese brands.

During the survey, its participants were asked to answer the question: “What brands of Chinese cars do you know? Enter the brands that were remembered first.” Each respondent could indicate several answers. After processing the data, a spontaneous knowledge rating of Chinese car brands was compiled (recognition without a hint). Geely brand became the undisputed leader in terms of “Recognition without a hint” - 63.4% of respondents indicated it.

Chery is the second one with 53.7%. Haval finished the TOP-3 by recognition without a hint. This brand was among the first to be remembered by every second Russian car owner. The fourth and fifth places of the rating, with a significant lag behind the leaders, were occupied by Lifan (38.8%) and Great Wall (36.4%). FAW followed (15%). Other Chinese car brands had less than 10% of the votes.
